Lamothe Webinars and Seminars

You need to design a safe product.  You need to ensure that your design also complies with the applicable safety standards.  This design needs to be cost effective, and you can't afford to make mistakes or delay your time to market.  Contact us for one of our specialized safety seminars, or online webinar!

Lamothe Specialized Seminars

We offer fully customizable design seminars at your facility or ours.  Our seminars are targeted towards understanding the design requirements of either IEC 61010-1 or IEC 60950-1 - specifically as they apply to the products you are designing.  Both new and seasoned designers will benefit from one of our seminars as we prefer a hands-on approach and encourage group discussions.

The Lamothe Specialized Seminar will answer many questions, including:

  • What are the requirements of the safety standard?

  • What should I be looking for when selecting components?

  • What is creepage and clearance, and how do I account for this in my design?

  • What design details are important for safety compliance?

  • What tests will be conducted during safety evaluation?

  • What documentation is required to proceed with a certification?

  • What changes should we make to our current design to comply?

  • What is the difference between agencies, and what certification marks do I really need?

  • What is CE marking?

Each seminar we provide is focused on your specific requirements (depending on your product and needs), but here are two sample schedules for a typical two day seminar:
