Lamothe Design Assistance = Faster time to Market
Have you ever tried to build or assemble something without instructions? Felt the frustration? Took too much time? Sometimes those installation instructions and manuals actually do come in handy! Designing electrical equipment to meet the required safety standard is no different. Avoid common pitfalls - call us now!
For over 30 years Lamothe Approvals has been evaluating electrical products to safety standards. We are the experts in knowing what components are suitable, and which are not. We know what spacings (creepage distance and clearance) are required and can guide your design team to ensure these are met. Using the Lamothe Design Assistance allows your product to move quickly (and painlessly) from design to certification, allowing you to focus on more important details!
Here is a partial list of what we can help you with:
choosing your components (power supplies, transformers, relays, etc.)
power supply design
designing your enclosure with the appropriate opening sizes, creepage and clearance distance, etc.
labels and manual writing
plastic selection
interlock circuit design
grounding (earthing) methods
adjustments necessary for temperature ratings
connection to other equipment
printed wiring board design assistance
Many manufacturers do not have the resources to design their products with the above items in mind. Lamothe Approvals has helped numerous companies through certification with our expert design assistance. Our customers have been thanking us for a faster time to market, and lessening the load placed on their design team. Regardless of the size of your organization, or project, Lamothe Design Assistance can help you!
